No one chooses to have dementia in their lives. The road is bumpy but there are special moments of joy where you least expect them. At the day centre we are very privileged to share in those moments. We hear accounts of what it was like to be a child in the war, see music bring forth joyful tears and laughter. Also see a persons pride when they complete some art work of or find the solution to the crossword we have all been struggling with. We hope in enabling these moments of joy we help those living with dementia to have fulfilment in their day whilst giving the people who care for them day and night a well earned break.
