Victoria Pavilion Arts is a project delivered by Sussex Support Service CIC in Uckfield. We passionately believe that art has the ability to make people feel good, build confidence and connect with others. We develop participatory arts activities and experiences with people who are often excluded and, through our gallery and workshop spaces promote and provide opportunities for local artists, creative practitioners and emerging talent. Proceeds from all our events and activities go back into the project. We are based in a fantastic and easily accessible location at Victoria Pavilion in Victoria Pleasure Ground, Uckfield. We are very excited to announce that our popular Festive Wreath-Making Workshop will be taking place on Saturday 7th December. This year the workshop will be led by the wonderful Becky from Wild and May floristry whose natural floral creations are simply gorgeous. As always this event is to raise essential funds for our Arts for Wellbeing Sessions and we are very grateful to Becky for giving her time and skills so generously. It will be a lovely event with delicious seasonal refreshments, conviviality and good cheer ( and mulled wine!) - so why not join us, perhaps invite a friend as a pre-christmas treat, and get int to the festive spirit by creating something handmade and gorgeous for your home.

ARTIST OPPORTUNITY - HIRE OUR GALLERY WALL SPACE
We are thrilled to offer local artists the opportunity to display their work (2D) at the Victoria Pavilion from Spring 2024. Artists will be able to hire the wall space, rather like exhibiting in a cafe, for a period of up to a month at a time. During that period the artist can opt to have a weekend when the centre is open exclusively for visitors to the exhibition. The centre is open for our many services and activities 5 days a week and is used regularly by hiring groups during the evenings. On weekends, activities like the Repair Cafe, Saturday Social, Creative Cafe and Arts workshops attract a wide range of people through the doors. We will be happy to help you promote your exhibition through our extensive community and business networks. There are 3 rooms with wall hanging space - all of which are in use throughout the week - and there is a picture hanging system throughout. If you are interested please contact Helen for more info about cost and available dates using the button below.
